10 things to pray when it feels too hard

When you’re running low on strength. When you’re struggling to hear beyond the voices that tell you this is just too hard. When you’re not sure how to take your next step.

Here are 10 sets of Scripture you can pray to combat lies that begin with “I.” 

  1. I can’t keep up.

  7. I can’t carry all of this.

  8. I’m not equipped.

  9. I don’t have what it takes.

Have you been battling any of those “I” lies? I sure have. Here’s what these verses remind me of, more than anything, though: I really am weak, I really can’t do this on my own, and I’m really not doing myself any favors by focusing on myself; but God is strong, He won’t leave me, and He gives me strength, through Jesus, to do whatever He calls me to do.
