Reaching. That’s what I’m dreaming about for 2017. Reaching up…to the open hand of Jesus and following Him. Reaching in…to the identity He has marked me with. Reaching forward…to those who have gone before me. Reaching back…to the ones who are coming behind me.

This is discipleship in a nutshell! Reaching up, reaching in, reaching forward, and reaching back

 It’s so hugely significant, my friend, that Jesus reaches out His hand and looks straight into us, calling, “Come, follow me.” He’s telling us that He wants us, that He’s confident that we can be like Him, and that He trusts that we can go on and make more disciples, too!! It's such a gift to get to follow Jesus! My heart is just bubbling over about this, and I’ll be sharing a lot of what I’ve been learning about this here in the coming weeks.
